St Julien :
The property (see photos) is located in the heart of a nature reserve near the village of la Mole in the heart of Provence and the massif des Maures, the hills of the Moors.
St. Julien is a traditional old provençal mas or farmhouse nestled in the luxuriant countryside offering total peace and quiet.
Constructed over a century ago in the midst of some 50 acres of woods, maquis and vineyards on the edge of a protected forest, the main house is built on a gentle grassy slope with a view of the spectacular hills of Provence. A terrace in the shade of a hundred year old plane tree and its younger offspring provides the comfort of outside living with immeasurable charm. This is the lower terrace.
Protected from the winds of the mistral, the mas unites all the qualities of a great manor house decorated in traditional French taste with the amenities of a luxurious home on the shore.
Its location set back from the coast provides easy access to the principal beaches of St. Tropez and environs. The perpetual party is only 20 minutes away, with no concern about traffic congestion on coastal roads.
The good sized 40’x 20’ pool (see photos) is hidden away in an island of greenery, allowing children to enjoy themselves without disturbing the peace of those relaxing
in the house or on the lower terrace.
